Material Manager

  • Purchase of Materials, Inventory Control and Stores responsibility for SSC including for the Catering, FMS and Accommodation Divisions.
  • Plans organize, direct control and review schedules, programs and procedures to meet demands with respect to purchasing, material management, Inventory control, warehouse Management, related MIS system, quality checks, hygiene and safety standard
  • Establish and maintain information and communication system to ensure all information changes, revised procedures and regulations related to the business are transmitted to all concerned personnel and are implemented without delay.
  • Review Purchase orders to ensure maximum / minimum levels of stock are maintained in coordination with F & B controller / Area Supervisors.
  • Establish and regularly update the Approved suppliers list with all relevant data contacts and approved signatories
  • Follow Company policies and Procedures in all aspects of procurement material management, inventory control and warehouse management.
  • Update the Material supply program, end of month stock figures, reconciliation, consumption and purchase totals and submit the reports to the Operation Manager.
  • Maintain good working relationships with other department and other agencies in order to ensure smooth and efficient operations related to purchasing, material management and warehouse management
  • Coordinate with the catering Manager to establish agreed raw materials specifications kingdom wide.
  • Negotiate and finalize the terms of suppliers contracts.
  • Keep abreast with latest developments and best practices related to Materials, Inventory Control and Stores, Accommodation & FMS Division.
